Day Five - Pocatello Fellow

Waking up to the news that the forecast still called for rain did not make me too happy. I decided to use the down time to catch up on the blog and post some photos. I walked down the street to a locally owned cafe to find out if they had wireless because while I could work on the blog in the room, my email could not get through their server and I did want to reply to my email.

While there I asked about a good locally owned place where a hungry guy could get a good breakfast and they pointed me to a place down closer to town. It was not a bad place, the food came quickly and the coffee was hot. On the way back to the hotel I gassed up the bike so that it would be ready for the ride tomorrow.

I spent the rest of the morning working on the posting for my day at Rocky Mountain National Park and then I went back down to the cafe for a small bite to eat. I had thought about riding but I was getting bad vibes about being on the bike so I chose to stay put.

That afternoon I pulled together the posting for the previous day and then went to Applebee’s and had ribs for dinner. With that my day was done and I hit the sack.

Oh, yeah, and at one point when I looked out the door I saw this cloud shaped like a flying saucer.

Bongo,

There is a benefit tonight for Josh. I'll raise a glass for you.

Be safe and enjoy the ride.

My Good Reverend,

Thank you for letting me know about the benefit. I hope to be in town for the next one.

Thanks also for the good wishes!
